The Velatura workflow
A render loop you can review, not just rerun.
Start from an existing design view. Make an intentional render decision. When a local change is needed, keep the approved parent, evaluate the child, and export the selected output.
Four stages
Keep the work in a project-shaped loop.
01 · Render
Begin with the design view.
Import the source, choose the workflow, materials, lighting, model, and resolution, then review the estimated managed-render cost before starting.
02 · Edit region
Bound the next change.
Select an output, paint the effective region, and create a child variation. The parent remains available while the masked crop is processed.
03 · Compare
Judge the branch in context.
Use split comparison and project history to decide whether the variation is worth carrying forward or whether the parent remains the stronger option.
04 · Export
Review the selected output cleanly.
Enter focused Export mode to review the chosen result without the variation strip, edit history, or leading source sidebar.
Selected-region editing
Pixels outside the effective mask remain unchanged through local compositing.
What this does not mean
Generated pixels inside the region and near its boundary can still vary by provider, model, source, crop, resolution, and instruction. This is not a semantic object or geometry-preservation guarantee.
